Labs and testing facilities

Textile engineering is an engineering branch of production and management functions. For this reason the importance of practice for textile engineering students is a worldwide fact and also in our department practice is accepted as an inseparable part of education. This necessity is realized in real production plants.

In our department there is an integrated production plant which is not found in any other textile education school in Turkey. In this plant, the practices of vocational courses, guidance internship, research & application studies and pilot productions demanded by the industry. The responsive industrialists and machine producers give supports to renovate the machines and equipments of our production plant so our instructors and students have the chance of following the technological renovations.
