Training Facilities and Machinery Inventory

 

 

Textile Engineering is an engineering discipline where production and management functions are closely intertwined. For this reason, the importance of hands-on practice for Textile Engineering students is widely recognized worldwide. In line with this approach, practical training is considered an integral part of our Department’s education. This requirement is fulfilled through training facilities that have the capability and competence to conduct real production.

In these integrated training facilities—unique among textile education institutions in Türkiye—students carry out practical applications of professional courses, orientation internships, applied research and development activities, and pilot productions in response to industry requests. Machinery and equipment renewed with the support of industry stakeholders and machine manufacturers enable both our academic staff and students to keep up with technological developments.
