TEXTILE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT BRANCHES
There is a wide variety of production techniques in the textile industry and it is not possible to learn all of them adequately in a 4-year education period. In developed countries, textile engineering education is carried out by dividing branches. Thus, young textile engineers are offered the opportunity to adapt to their workplaces in a very short time and to gain experience by applying what they learned while working in the industry, instead of learning the profession while working in the industry after graduation.
Textile Engineering students at Ege University, after completing the first 2 years of basic science and engineering courses together with the textile courses jointly and completing the Internship 1, ; – Textile Technology (Spinning, Weaving, Knitting) – Textile Chemistry and Finishing – Can choose one of the options and has been trained in the last 2 years by specializing in this option.
