Our Department, which started education as Izmir Textile Technical High School in 1966, takes pride in being Turkey's most established, modern, and comprehensive textile education institution. Since its foundation, it has been training engineers for the Turkish Textile Industry who are equipped with modern and quality education, open to development, creative, responsible, strong in communication, and problem-solving.
Ege University Textile Engineering Department Undergraduate Program has been accredited by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK) and has been awarded the "European Label" – EURopean ACcredited Engineer (EUR-ACE) Label valid throughout the accreditation period.
