What does accreditation mean?

The Turkish-language education program of our Department has been accredited by MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs) since 2006. This accreditation indicates that students receive adequate professional engineering education and that processes enabling continuous improvement have been established and are operating effectively. Efforts to accredit the English-language program are ongoing.
