Internship II is conducted at the end of the third year when the academic summer break begins. Every student must complete their internship at factories that are related to their chosen specialization and approved by the Department.

Internship Periods: June 15 - July 14, July 15 - August 14, August 15 - September 14

Note: The internship cannot be divided. Students doing internships starting June 15 or July 15 cannot attend summer school.

Through Textile Engineering Internship II, students have the opportunity to become familiar with production areas where a textile engineer can work in accordance with their chosen specialization, see and learn about the machines they may encounter in their working life, gain familiarity with machines and systems through hands-on work at companies, and identify topics they might enjoy working in.

Purpose and Objectives

In relation to their chosen specialization, students:

Learn the duties and responsibilities of the textile engineering profession by experiencing them in a real environment
Prepare to take responsibility in production processes from raw materials to final products
Receive training in feasibility, R&D, planning, design, production, and inspection

Locations found by the committee are announced on the internship board with the application deadline. If there are multiple applications for the same location, selection is made by lottery. The Internship Board should be followed for general announcements.
